Acquaforte. 390x555. Rifilata entro l’impronta del rame. Iscrizioni: Sotto l’immagine, a sin. ““Extat in Edibus A. Zanetti Brand pinx”; a dx. “Joan Volpato Sculp. Apud J. Wagner Venetiis C.P.E.S.”. Traccia di colla al verso, rifilata. 

Bella traduzione incisoria da un quadro del pittore paesaggista tedesco. Eseguita mentre il Volpato, eminente artista bassanese, esercitava per Giovanni Wagner, attivo a Venezia con propria calcografia dal 1749 al 1786. Volpato si trasferì definitivamente a Roma nel 1772.

Beautiful engraving translation from a painting by the German landscape painter. Performed while Volpato, an eminent Bassano artist, was practicing for Giovanni Wagner, active in Venice with his own chalcography from 1749 to 1786. Volpato moved permanently to Rome in 1772.
