Rembrandt’s wife Saskia, with pearls in her hair.

Acquaforte di 86x66 mm. Firmata e datata 1634. Bell’esemplare su carta vergellata. 

Ritratto in cui è raffigurata di profilo la moglie di Rembrandt, Saskia. La donna è ben vestita ed elegante con diversi gioielli indosso. Si tratta di uno dei più attraenti ritratti che l’incisore fece per rappresentare sua moglie Saskia, che sposò nel giugno 1634.

Portrait of Rembrandt's wife Saskia. The woman is well dressed and elegant with different jewels on. It is one of the most attractive portraits that the engraver made to represent his wife Saskia, whom he married in June 1634.
