Condition Report

Beautiful specimen, first edition, increased by 5 plates. The plates are engraved by Chamouin, signed by Giraldon, watercolored by Madame Diot and printed by Prudhomme father and son. The 3 plates with globes, often missing, are imprinted on double pages. The five plates added are from 1829.The table of contents contains 75 maps; This copy contains five additional maps with a total of 80 maps. The atlas is complete, including three double-page maps. The extra maps are mainly maps from 1829. The mapmakers: Jean-Baptiste-Marie Chamouin and J.B. Tardieu
