Condition Report

The volume contains the history of Masonry where the roles of the main political figures connected to the lodge are revealed. But the Masonry revolution was not limited to France alone. Already in 1847 the great agitator Mazzini had excited powerful demonstrations throughout Piedmont. At the sight of this movement, Carlo Alberto, whom the masons proclaimed king of Italy, let himself be fascinated. The work also contains "Organization of Young Italy", "Rules for receiving Masonic degrees" and the internal degrees of the Rosicrucians, with the initiation of the Scottish rite. In appendix: "A few more words on masonry" against a text printed at that time. Caillet quotes the French edition of 1858: "Ouvrage critique useful a connaitre et ayant une originalité propre." Lattanzi 1536c. Cf. Caillet 5163.
