Rare edition. Work alchemical interest, which properly concerns the art of prolonging human life, the study of metals and properties of gems. There are also chapters on Gallic disease, wine, opium, and teeth. It was printed by Ravensteyn, in continuation of other works by Bacon published in the same years by Lodewijk Elzevier in Amsterdam.
