Folio, 350 x 230 mm; Contemporary vellum, linear gold frame to the covers, manuscript title on the ribbed backs, sprinkled edges; pp. [8], 620, [12]. Some light stains, widespread slight foxing, unsophisticated specimen in the original binding.

Condition Report

First edition. The work was included in the impressive history of the Society of Jesus. A work of great interest, a historical source of primary importance: Bartoli, as the official historian of the Order, was able to draw on original documents and many unpublished materials.
