Incisione di 124x236 mm, carta vergellata, firmata in basso a sinistra "Callot fe." in stato II/II. Macchie marroni, carta giallastra, brillante inchiostratura. 

Magnifica tavola, dalla serie "Les Bohémiens". Sono raffigurate diverse scene vivaci. La parte sinistra è consacrata alla preparazione del pranzo: un montone appeso è macellato da un giovane, un grande pentolone è appoggiato sul fuoco, un ragazzo su un ramo fa cuocere un enorme prosciutto, davanti al fuoco una giovane con i suoi bambini. Sulla destra, in fondo, una partoriente è accudita da diverse donne. In primo piano una donna seduta a terra spidocchia una bambina e dietro di loro alcuni uomini giocano a carte.
