Bellissima incisione di Robert De Vaugondy, famoso cartografo francese del XVIII secolo. Nel 1760 Didier Robert de Vaugondy fu nominato geografo di Luigi XV. Nel 1757 pubblicò insieme al padre Gilles la sua opera più famosa, l'Atlas Universel.
