An etching plate engraved by Meryon and 150 reproductions in black and white. Some little tears on margins in the etching plate, but very nice condition.

Condition Report

First edition with an original Meryon's plate. Very important catalog annotated of over 100 works by Meryon, 1821-1868, engraver, painter, draftsman and poet, with descriptions, photographic reproductions, the different states, the origins. This is the second volume of  "Le peintre-graveur illustre XIXe et XXe siecles", 31 volumes published between 1906 and 1930.
