Iran, seconda metà del XIX secolo

411x175 cm.

Elegante tappeto persiano MALAYER di antica manifattura di lana molto fine, con motivo di "botteh"(mandorla) ripetuto su tutto il campo. Il fondo blu mette in risalto la precisione del disegno; il colore del bordo è stato ottenuto tingendo la lana con la radice della robbia.
Annodato a mano con ordito in cotone.
