Prima edizione figurata. In quest’opera il professore di Montpellier, che aveva già indagato sull’elettricità del corpo umano, si propone di studiare l’utilizzo del “fluido elettrico” per migliorare la crescita e curare le patologie dei vegetali. Il volume è ornato da belle tavole incise su rame da Legrand, che raffigurano le esperienze condotte per verificare l’influenza dell’elettricità sulla crescita delle piante.
