KUNISADA, Utagawa. Bijinga. (Legatura di uno shunga).

Xilografia a colori, 178x112 mm. Impressione eccellente con pigmenti metallici ed effetti di goffratura. Leggermente rifilata, al verso carta di supporto, bell’esemplare.

Ritratto a mezzo busto di una cortigiana con uno stuzzicadenti. In primo piano, sulla destra, un bollitore su un hibachi. Bijin-ga («dipinti di belle donne») è un termine generico che indica immagini di belle donne (bijin ) nell'arte giapponese, specie nella xilografia del genere ukiyo-e.
