Edizione originale. Appello di Jean Mestral, “conseiller, notaire et secrétaire du Roi et receveur general des bois”, contro due sentenze precedenti che lo avevano visto perdente. Causa intentata contro Nicollas Regnart, Tresorier General de France, che nel 1592 approfittando dell’assenza per malattia di Mestral “come apert par attestation des Medecins", aveva ottenuto in dono dal Re la carica di Receveur dell’appellante. La data si ricava dalla pagina 2 (ultima riga).

Edizione originale. Appello di Claire-Renée de CHOISEUL, vedova del Jean du Chastelet, (che aveva sposato nel 1561) e di suo figlio Erard du Chastelet (nato nel 1568) contro la sentenza emessa dal Lieutenant de Langres, il 19 Aprile 1596. Causa contro Jean du Chastelet, all’epoca “Sieur de Thons & Gouverneur de Langres”, nato nel 1551 dal primo matrimonio del defunto Jean du Chastelet. La causa riguarda i diritti ereditari e in questo “Fait” (appello), viene presentata la storia della importante “Maison du Chatelet” che discende dalla casata dei duchi di Lorena e che fa parte dei quattro «grands chevaux de Lorraine».
