Questa tavola mostra in coloratura coeva una veduta della fortezza olandese Nassau in Brasile. La veduta rappresenta la scena di una battaglia al largo di Pernambuco, sulla costa orientale del Brasile. In alto indicazione della Fortezza nel suo nome latino.
Mappa tratta dall’opera: “De nieuwe en onbekende weereld”. L’opera fu pubblicata ad Amsterdam nel 1671 da Jacon Meurs.
