Testa di uomo con fiocco sul copricapo.
1645-1650 ca.

Acquaforte. Foglio: 182x150 mm. Inciso: 180x148 mm. Firmato sulla lastra in alto a sinistra: CASTILIONE / GENOVESE. Stato: secondo su due. Carta vergellata, traccia di filigrana. Bell’esemplare.

Nel corso degli anni Quaranta del Seicento Castiglione realizzò due serie di incisioni di teste, sia grandi che piccole. Ha esplorato una vasta gamma di tipi culturali e fisionomici: nasi storti e aquilini, turbanti e gioielli elaborati, figure che leggono una pergamena o suonano un corno.
