Due acqueforti di 50x38 mm e 55x48 mm. Incollate su cartoncino gli angoli. Bell’esemplare.

Due piccole rappresentazioni di paesaggi collinari con in primo piano alberi frondosi.

3) The shepherd and the shepherdess.
Ca. 1630

Acquaforte di 155x108 mm. In basso al margine: Claude Gilee Inv. Incollata su cartoncino agli angoli. Bell’esemplare.

Paesaggio pastorale tanto caro al Lorrain, in cui un pastore, seduto su una roccia, suona il flauto rivolto alla pastorella in piedi al suo fianco. Con tratti molto decisi è raffigurata la mandria vicino a loro. In lontananza un paesaggio collinare e montagnoso.

Pastoral landscape so dear to Lorrain, in which a shepherd, sitting on a rock, plays the flute turned to the shepherdess standing beside her. The herd near them is depicted with very decisive features. In the distance, a hilly and mountainous landscape.
