Giovanni Marco Pitteri ,1702-1786, è stato un incisore italiano tardo barocco a Venezia. Giovanni Battista Piazzetta Venezia 1682 – 1754, è stato un pittore e incisore barocco e rococò. È considerato uno degli artisti veneziani più importanti del XVIII secolo. Le sue scene di genere in particolare, oltre a motivi religiosi e mistici, fecero tendenza per la pittura veneziana del Settecento. Una delle più belle incisioni del Pitteri dove alla morbidezza del tratto si aggiunge la potenza espressiva del volto.

Giovanni Marco Pitteri 1702-1786 was a late Baroque Italian engraver in Venice. Giovanni Battista Piazzetta Venezia 1682 - 1754, was a Baroque and Rococo painter and engraver. He is considered one of the most important Venetian artists of the eighteenth century, especially his genre scenes, as well as religious and mystical motifs, set the trend for eighteenth-century Venetian painting. One of the most beautiful engravings by Pitteri where the expressive power of the face is added to the softness of the line.
