Acquaforte con coloritura coeva. 315x210. Margine. Carta forte. Iscrizioni: sotto l’immagine a sinistra “chez Daudet”; al centro “S. Pancratio”. Buono stato di conservazione. 

Rara stampa dell’Imagerie Religieuse di Lyon. L'iconografia è quella classica della tradizione popolare, che narra del miracoloso intervento del Santo per riattaccare la gamba della contadina inavvertitamente recisa dal marito con la falce.

Etching with contemporary coloring. 315x210. Margin. Thick paper. Inscriptions: under the image on the left "chez Daudet"; in the center "S. Pancratio ". Good specimen.

Rare print from the Imagerie Religieuse of Lyon. The iconography is the classic one of popular tradition, which tells of the miraculous intervention of the Saint to reattach the peasant's leg inadvertently cut off by her husband with her scythe.
