Acquaforte. 298x192 mm. Margini. Carta forte. Iscrizioni: sotto l’immagine ““Ego sum vitis vera, et vos palmites” Buono stato di conservazione. 

Rarissima stampa popolare dei Remondini. È raffigurato Cristo con arbusto che gli esce dal petto, tra i cui rami appaiono figure frammiste a grappoli d’uva. Si tratta dell’illustrazione del verso tratto dal Vangelo di Giovanni (15/5).

Etching. 298x192 mm. Margins. Thick paper. Inscriptions: under the image “Ego sum vitis vera, et vos palmites” (I am the vine; you are the branches). Good specimen.

Very rare popular print by Remondini. Christ is depicted with a shrub that comes out of his chest, among whose branches there are figures mixed with bunches of grapes. This is the illustration of the verse taken from the Gospel of John (15/5).
