Condition Report
Rare first edition. An important work of comparative linguistics, divided into eight dissertations, which was extremely successful and was reprinted several times. Bergier strongly supports the primacy of Hebrew by referring to the story of the Tower of Babel. In the Elémens primitifs des langues he proposes the identification of the primitive language with Hebrew, since the whole book is destined to bring you back, by parallel trailing, the roots of French, Latin and Greek.
