Macarsca, 6 settembre 1808

Foglio di 300x200 mm, vergellata e con filigrana. Tre pagine elegantemente manoscritte in inchiostro nero, 1 pagina bianca. Carta intestata a stampa. Bell’esemplare.

Bertrand de Sivray, Generale 1809 e Barone dell'Impero 1810 fu ufficiale della Legion d'Onore distinguendosi in Dalmazia dal 1806 al 1808.
Il Generale informa il duca di Ragusa che si sta recando a Zara per presiedere un consiglio di guerra. "Vostra Eccellenza senza dubbio conosce già tutti i dettagli degli avvenimenti che hanno avuto luogo a Costantinopoli e della partenza del Console francese la notte in cui la notizia è stata portata da un tartaro...".

Bertrand de Sivray, General 1809 and Baron of the Empire 1810 was an officer of the Legion of Honor distinguishing himself in Dalmatia from 1806 to 1808.
The General informs the Duke of Ragusa that he is on his way to Zadar to preside over a council of war. "Your Excellency no doubt already knows all the details of the events that took place in Constantinople and of the departure of the French Consul on the night the news was brought by a Tatar...."
