Décret de la Convention Nationale, des 2 et 4 Octobre 1793, qui accordent à René Descartes les honneurs dus aux grands hommes, et ordonnent de transférer au Panthéon François son corps et sa Statue faite par le célèbre Pajou.

4to; 242x193 mm. Pp. 4. Buon esemplare marginoso. 

Raro opuscolo sul Decreto della Convention Nationale che accorda a René Descartes i più grandi onori e ordina la traslazione del suo corpo all’interno del Pantheon parimenti alla sua statua realizzata dallo scultore Augustin Pajou.
Il corpo, nonostante il decreto, fu sepolto nell’Abbazia di Saint-Germain-des-Prés, sempre a Parigi.

Rare pamphlet on the Decree of the Convention Nationale granting René Descartes the highest honors and ordering the translation of his body inside the Pantheon equal to his statue made by sculptor Augustin Pajou.
The body, despite the decree, was buried in the Abbey of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, also in Paris.
