8vo; 152x95 mm.; legatura in mezza pelle e cartonato. Tagli rossi. Pp. [16], 312 (i.e. 294), [2], 70 c. di tav. f.t. Testatine e finalini xil. Leggera brunitura uniforme per la qualità della carta, legatura con leggeri segni di usura. Buon esemplare. 

Importante trattato classico di gnomonica, con alcune sezioni di astronomia e navigazione. Applicando i principi della trigonometria sferica, l'autore indica i metodi per costruire tutti i tipi di meridiane e rintracciarli su tutti i tipi di supporti, ma anche meridiane o metodi lunari che consentono di conoscere l'ora di notte grazie alle stelle. Il lavoro termina con elementi di stereotomia.

8vo; 152x95 mm.; quarter calf binding. Red edges. Pp. [16], 312 (i.e. 294), [2], 70 plates o.t. Woodcut headpieces and endpieces. Slight spread browning due to the quality of paper. Slight sign of wear on binding. Good copy.

Important classic treatise on gnomonics, with some sections of astronomy and navigation. By applying the principles of spherical trigonometry, the author indicates the methods for constructing all types of sundials and tracking them on all types of supports, but also sundials or lunar methods that allow you to know the time of night thanks to the stars. The work ends with stereotomy elements.
