4to grande, 275x210 mm. Pp. 4. Testatina figurata con motto della Monarchia costituzionale “La Loi et le Roi / Union Force Constitution 1791”. Note e firme manoscritte. Leggeri difetti al margine superiore ma buon esemplare.

Rara Placchetta. Legge interlocutoria sul problema degli schiavi nelle Colonie. All’Articolo III si dichiara che le leggi sullo stato delle persone ‘non libere’, e quello delle persone di colore e dei ‘negres libres’, saranno fatte dalle Assemblee coloniali.

Large 4to, 275x210 mm. Pp. 4. Illustrated headpiece with motto of the Constitutional Monarchy: “La Loi et le Roi / Union Force Constitution 1791”. Handwritten note and signatures. Slight defects on the top margin, but good copy.

Rare Pamphlet. Interim law on the problem of slaves in the Colonies. In Article III it is declared that the laws on the status of 'unfree' people, and that of people of color and 'negres libres', will be made by the Colonial Assemblies.
