Bella mappa tratta dalla “Geographia” di Claudio Tolomeo, a cura di Giacomo Ruscelli.
La mappa rappresenta l’area asiatica tra l’Impero Persiano, l’estremità orientale del Mar Nero e le montagne del Caucaso, con una porzione di Penisola Arabica.
La mappa non è stata esaminata fuori dalla cornice.

Beautiful map taken from Claudio Tolomeo's ‘Geographia’, edited by Giacomo Ruscelli.
The map depicts the Asian area between the Persian Empire, the eastern end of the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains, with a portion of the Arabian Peninsula.
The map has not been examined outside its frame.
