Un foglio in 8vo, 185x122 mm., in penna blu su carta celeste. 
Il celebre scrittore e drammaturgo francese (1824-1895) annuncia “a un caro amico” che rimarrà a Villeroy per tutto il mese e lo invita a fargli visita.

Un foglio in 8vo, 208x135 mm., inchiostro nero. Senza data.
«Bien content, cher ami, de vous savoir mieux et ayant utilisé votre malheur ainsi qu'il faut faire. C'est utile pour soi et pour les autres. Je vais lire ça avec curiosité et intérêt. Je vous écris au milieu des malles. Je retourne à Paris et n'en bougerai plus. Quand vous viendrez vous êtes sûr de m'en trouver - ou vif ou mort, mais toujours tout à vous et si cela continue, pas trop mal portant».
[Sono molto felice, mio caro amico, di sapere che stai meglio e che hai sfruttato la tua sfortuna come dovresti. È utile per te e per gli altri. Leggerò questo con curiosità e interesse. Ti scrivo tra i bauli. Torno a Parigi e non me ne andrò più. Quando verrai, mi troverai sicuramente lì: vivo o morto, ma sempre interamente tuo, e se le cose continueranno così, non troppo male.]

The famous French writer and playwright (1824-1895) announces "to a dear friend" that he will remain in Villeroy for the entire month and invites him to visit.

One sheet of 8vo, 208 x 135 mm, black ink. Undated.
