Rara edizione pubblicata nella raccolta: “Les Trois Règnes de la Nature - Règne Végétal”. Importante opera che tratta i vegetali descrivendone forme e funzioni, le loro affinità, la loro nomenclatura, e i loro rapporti con l'uomo nell'agricoltura, nella medicina, nell'arte e nell'industria.

4to; 270x180 mm. Legatura editoriale in piena tela con impressioni a secco ai piatti e dorso decorato a motivi floreali dorati. Pp. [4], XXVIII, 387, [1]. All’occhietto: “Les trois regnes de la nature - Regne Vegetal”. 30 tavole litografiche finemente colorate e 20 incisioni in acciaio in bianco e nero f.t. Nel testo centinaia di illustrazioni. Ogni tavola colorata è protetta da velina, compresa quella iniziale in bianco e nero che funge da antiporta. Foxing.

4to; 270x180 mm. Publisher’s binding in full cloth with blind tooling on covers and decorated spine with gilt floral motifs. Pp. Pp. [4], XXVIII, 387, [1]. On the half-title: “Les trois regnes de la nature - Regne Vegetal”. 30 lithographic plates finely colored and 20 steel engravings in black and white o.t. In the text hundreds illustrations. Every colored plate is protected by tissue including the first plate in black and white which functions of frontispiece. Foxing.
