An extremely rare work focusing on mensuration. G. Henisch, a Hungarian philologist and mathematician (1549–1618). He taught logic and mathematics at Augsburg, where he held various academic posts. He devoted his entire life to astronomy and published an astronomical calendar every year.

Handwritten note of ownership on the flyleaf and handwritten initials ‘GF’ on the lower margin of the title page. Woodworm holes affecting the text slightly on some of the final pages. A fine copy.
