Sibylliakoi kresmoi, hoc est Sibyllina oracula.
Parigi, [Abel l’Angelier], 1607
A rare collection of oracles traditionally attributed to the Sibyls, which enjoyed widespread and enduring popularity. This bilingual edition, in Greek and Latin, corresponds to the 1599 edition edited by Johannes Obsopaeus (1556-1596), a philologist and physician from Heidelberg, who extensively revised the text and added his extensive commentaries. The twelve portraits of the Sibyls are fascinating.
