Splendida raffigurazione della regione di Paraiba e dei forti difensivi alla foce del fiume Paraiba. La mappa illustra l'incursione olandese nel territorio portoghese e mostra la flotta olandese che riempie il fiume e gli eserciti in difesa che marciano lungo le strade. Un ampio riquadro molto decorativo raffigura il Capitanato di Brasilia e l'intera costa da R. Peguihuga a Bahia de Todos Sanctos.

A splendid map of the region of Paraiba and the defending forts at the mouth of the River Paraiba. The map illustrates the Dutch incursion into the Portuguese territory and shows the Dutch fleet filling the river and the defending armies marching along the roads. A large and very decorative inset depicts the Captaincy of Brasilia the entire coastline from R. Peguihuga to Bahia de Todos Sanctos.
