Incisione in rame con una parte in coloritura coeva di 425x405 mm. Ampi Margini. Buon esemplare.

Dettagliata carta dei Paesi Bassi redatta dal capitano di fanteria e dall’ingegnere militare Chauchard. Un foglio di 9 che compone la grande carta dell’impero Germanico realizzata in funzione delle prime operazioni militari delle armate rivoluzionarie francesi sul finire degli anni '90 del Settecento che spiega anche l’alto grado di dettaglio per l'orografia e l'idrografia del luogo e l’assai fitta toponomastica.

Detailed map of the Netherlands drawn up by the infantry captain and the military engineer Chauchard. A sheet of 9 which makes up the large map of the German Empire created for the first military operations of the French revolutionary armies at the end of the 1790s which also explains the high degree of detail for the orography and hydrography of the place and the very dense toponymy.
