Folio; 275x215 mm.; Legatura coeva in tela con ritratto a colori entro ovale al piatto anteriore, titoli e fregi in oro sul piatto ant. e sul dorso; molte tavole f.t. incise a colori da Lewis Baumer. Lievi fioriture sui tagli e sulle prime pagine, per il resto ottima conservazione. 

Una delle edizioni illustrate a colori più desiderabili di Vanity Fair di Thackeray.

Condition Report

Folio; 275x215 mm.; contemporary full cloth binding with colored portrait within oval on front cover, gilt title and ornaments on front cover and back. A lot of colored illustrations on full page engraved by Lewis Baumer. Slight brownings on edges and on the first pages. Nice condition.


One of the most desirable colored illustrated editions of Thackeray's Vanity Fair.
