Incisione di mm. 166x338. In basso a sinistra “Callot Fec”. Stato II/V. Buona conservazione. 

Spettacolare grande veduta di Parigi, disegnata da Callot durante il soggiorno a Parigi nel 1628-1630 e incisa dopo il suo ritorno a Nancy. Primo piano della Senna con una festa nautica. A sinistra la torre de Nesle, a destra il Petit Bourbon che ospitò Callot e il suo amico ed editore Israel Henriet e più in là la galleria del Louvre. Lieure: «Pour les deux vues de Paris, les deux premiers etats sont les plus beaux et le plus recherchés.»

Spectacular large view of Paris, drawn by Callot during his stay in Paris in 1628-1630 and engraved after his return to Nancy. Foreground of the Seine with a nautical party. On the left the Tower de Nesle, on the right the Petit Bourbon which hosted Callot and his friend and publisher Israel Henriet and further on the Louvre gallery. Lieure: «Pour les deux vues de Paris, les deux premiers etats sont les plus beaux et le plus recherchés.»
