Litografia in coloritura. 463x287 mm. Didascalie in francese. Qualche strappetto ai margini. Buon esemplare.

Bellissimo cartoncino su cui sono stampati 50 bandiere di 50 diversi Stati in cui è inclusa una breve descrizione e la relativa capitale. Curiosissima testimonianza dell’epoca su quali fossero le capitali e gli stendardi allora utilizzati per alcuni Paesi che cambiarono successivamente o che, per alcuni, restarono inalterati. Molto curiosa l’indicazione dell’ultima bandiera, l’Australia, dove non viene riconosciuta una vera e propria capitale.
Lassaily, geografo francese, collaborò alla stesura de “L’Allemagne illustrée” di Malte-Brun.

Beautiful cardboard on which 50 flags of 50 different states are printed, including a brief description and their capital. Very curious testimony of the time on which were the capitals and the banners then used for some countries that changed later or that, for some, remained unchanged. Very curious is the indication of the last flag, Australia, where a real capital is not recognized.
Lassaily, a French geographer, collaborated in the drafting of "L’Allemagne illustrée" by Malte-Brun.
