Lettera scritta dopo la sua elezione (8 novembre 1932) e prima del suo insediamento (4 marzo 1933). Ringraziamenti per le congratulazioni ricevute in occasione della sua elezione. 

- Louis McHenry HOWE. Lettera dattiloscritta firmata, inviata a “Mr. and Mrs. Georges Lechartier”.

Ringraziamento ai sostenitori francesi del neoeletto Presidente degli Stati Uniti. Firmata dal suo segretario Louis McHenry Howe (1871-1936). Busta allegata con il nome e l'indirizzo di Roosevelt stampati e due francobolli con l’effigie di Washington.

One sheet of small 8vo. 140x180 mm. Signature at the end.

Letter written after his election (November 8, 1932) and before he took office (March 4, 1933). Thanks for the congratulations received on the occasion of his election.

- Louis McHenry HOWE. Signed typed letter, sent to "Mr. and Mrs. Georges Lechartier".
New York, February 3, 1933

One sheet of 8vo, 210 x 155 mm. On paper with the letterhead "Franklin D. Roosevelt | New York." Typewritten text on one page. Handwritten signature at the end by Louis McHenry Howe, Roosevelt's secretary.

A stamped and postmarked envelope is enclosed.

Thanks to the French supporters of the newly elected President of the United States. Signed by his secretary, Louis McHenry Howe (1871-1936). Envelope with Roosevelt's name and address printed and two stamps with the effigy of Washington.
