Condition Report

Rare original edition. Important work of natural philosophy, which the author prefers define 'physiologia': using finely arguments of Aristotle, Liceti supports the idea of immortality of the personal human soul. Then he demolishes the conception of the soul of Alexander of Aphrodisias, and criticizes Pomponazzi, the most important exponent of the so-called Alexandrist School, who in De immortalitate animae had supported the doctrine of the mortality of individual souls.
