Condition Report
Rare first edition, illustrated. Curious poem that weaves the praises of the canaries and explains the way to raise them and educate them to sing. The table out of the text depicts a gentleman playing the flute to instruct the canaries in the cage to sing, the lively final vignette is a typical example of chinoiserie with an oriental surrounded by tame birds.Ceresoli: ?rara perché impressa in numero ristretto di esemplari.?
