Small 4to mm. 210 x 160, pp. 8, 65, with 9 folded copper plates depicting XXXI figures. Red and black title page. Contemporary quarter calf binding, gilt titles on the spine. Stamp of extinct library on title page, some brownings and sign of humidity, good copy.

Condition Report

Second edition. Famiano Michelini ,1593-1666, Roman Hydraulic engineer, mathematics professor at the University of Pisa, and mathematician of Grand Duke Leopoldo de 'Medici, was among other correspondents Galileo's correspondent and Viviani's friend correcting this edition from Linguistic view. The treaty is also included among the "language texts" by Gamba, n. 2012. Riccardi, II/col. 156, n. 1.2: Poggendorff, II/145.
