Templum Vaticanum et ipsius origo. Rome, Printing house of Gio. Francesco Buagni, 1694 (n. 42).

Two works by Lasinio with beautiful copper plates in splendid coloring (n. 141 and 352), the monumental encyclopedic work in uniform binding of the Encyclopédie of Diderot and D'Alembert in the Livorno edition of 1770-79 (n. 164), the very rare work in 3 volumes by CORONELLI, Singolarità di Venezia e del serenissimo suo Dominio, from the beginning of the 18th century, one of the very few specimens that can boast the magnificent Doge Procession for a total of 630 plates (n. 222),

they represent just some of the 474 lots offered for sale, ranging across many topics with particular focus on scientific volumes, medicine, architecture, local history and travel books, also including autographs, prints, geographical maps, Venetian views, royal documents and documents on Malta and its chivalric order as well as revolutionary pamphlets or those relating to the terrible historical chapter of the slave trade.
