Importante mappa del Sanson sui possedimenti portoghesi in Brasile. Fantastica mappa regionale del Brasile, che si estende dall'Amazzonia all'area appena a sud di Rio de Janeiro fino a Tapuaguazo e al Lago de R. los Xarayes ad ovest. La mappa è colorata secondo le 14 Capitanerie del Brasile, come stabilito dai portoghesi. Appaiono le città più importanti, così come fiumi, laghi, montagne, isole e altri dettagli. Una delle prime mappe regionali prodotte per quest'area.
