Rara incisione in rame, colorata da mano coeva Tratta dall'edizione latina dell'Atlas Novus pubblicato ad Amsterdam nel 1640. Il Blaeu fu un cartografo olandese si stabilì ad Amsterdam, dove iniziò la pubblicazione di atlanti e carte geografiche e la costruzione di mappamondi.
